I used to camp here with my parents some years ago. When my husband and I married, before we had kids, we came here and set up our own tent, traveling out of our station wagon. This site is easy to get to, it’s quiet, and it’s a family run place. The lot was very spacious, so it’s easy to set up a tent.
You have to pound the tent stakes a bit to cut through the clay, but other than that, it’s pretty easy. We’d make breakfast on our kerosene stove, eat out for lunch, and then cook hamburgers over a campfire for dinner. Everyone here is super great to us. This is a great way to build memories. I hope it stays with our kids now.
